OUR STORY
EHI began with a decision.After working in banking, Patience Ehi Odokor chose to leave her career and pursue entrepreneurship in fashion.There was no traditional route into the industry — no fashion school and no inherited fashion business. Instead, EHI was built through curiosity, resilience, experimentation and a determination to create something of lasting value.In 2016, that journey began with Fabric Hub, a fabric retail and production business operating with just two sewing machines.As the business grew, so did the vision.In 2019, EHIWOMAN was launched, introducing a womenswear brand built around the modern African woman and the many worlds she occupies.Over the years, EHI has continued to evolve — expanding beyond Nigeria, establishing a presence in Ghana, developing relationships with stockists across Africa and beyond, taking the brand to international markets, and returning to its early menswear roots through the launch of EHIMAN.What has remained constant is our belief that African creativity can be transformed into enduring global businesses.
OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Global in outlook.Our design language begins with Africa, but it is never confined by geography.We draw from the richness of African life — our people, textiles, traditions, cities, celebrations, movement and ways of dressing — and interpret them through a contemporary global lens.We are interested in the intersection of heritage and modernity.Traditional craftsmanship and unexpected silhouettes. Structure and ease. Colour and restraint. Clothing that carries a sense of where it comes from while feeling completely at home anywhere in the world.At the heart of our design philosophy are four principles that have guided us from the beginning: Quality. It is to contribute an African point of view to the global language of fashion.

Launched in 2019, EHIWOMAN is our contemporary womenswear brand, created for the woman who occupies many worlds. She is confident, expressive, culturally aware and constantly evolving. Her wardrobe moves with her — through work, travel, celebrations, quiet moments and everything in between. EHIWOMAN explores proportion, colour, print, texture and African textile traditions through contemporary silhouettes designed around real life. Alongside each new collection are signature EHI pieces that return season after season — clothes designed to become part of a woman's wardrobe rather than disappear with a trend. We don't simply design for occasions. We design for a life.
